Swiftrics Sub-Processors

Last Updated: June 18, 2026

What a "sub-processor" is

A sub-processor is a third party we engage to process personal information in order to operate the Service — for example, to host data, process payments, deliver email, or monitor errors. We remain responsible to you for the services these vendors perform on our behalf.

Current sub-processors

Sub-processor Service provided Categories of data processed Primary location
Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) Core cloud infrastructure: application hosting (EC2), databases (RDS/Aurora), caching (ElastiCache), trial routing (DynamoDB), content and media storage (S3), CDN delivery of published sites (CloudFront), DNS and domain registry access (Route 53 / Route 53 Domains), outbound email (Amazon SES), and secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager). Account data, Customer Content and media, Domain Registrant (WHOIS) contact data, contact-form submissions, email recipient addresses and deliverability events, published site content. United States (primarily us-east-2 Ohio and us-east-1 N. Virginia); CDN edge caching of public site content is global.
Stripe, Inc. Payment processing and subscription billing. Customer billing name and address, payment card details (held by Stripe under PCI standards), transaction and subscription data. United States.
Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) Application error and performance monitoring. Diagnostic/error data, which may incidentally include request data such as IP address or other request details. United States.
GitHub, Inc. Source control and deployment tooling. Application source code and deployment artifacts; may incidentally capture diagnostic data. No routine end-user personal data. United States.
Upstream Registrar — currently Amazon Route 53 Domains (Amazon Registrar, Inc., an AWS company) ICANN-accredited domain registration, renewal, and transfer processing, including required registry and escrow disclosures. Domain Registrant contact details (name, organization, postal address, email, phone). United States / per registrar and registry.

Notes

  • Outbound email is delivered through Amazon SES. Swiftrics does not use Mailgun or Postmark in production.
  • No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking vendors are used. Swiftrics's built-in Customer Site analytics are cookieless and do not store raw IP addresses or user-agent strings (see the Privacy Policy, Section 3.3).
  • The Upstream Registrar is currently Amazon Route 53 Domains; its identity may change over time, and we will update this list if it does. Registry and data-escrow providers engaged through the Upstream Registrar are covered by that relationship.

We will keep this page current. Where the Data Processing Addendum applies, we will provide advance notice of new sub-processors as that addendum specifies, giving Customers an opportunity to object.
